Black Bear - Pottersville

We discovered this restaurant during a picturesque winter drive to Newcomb and decided to stop for lunch. My wife and I couldn't even finish half of the club sandwich—it was that large! The food was excellent, and the waitstaff were fantastic. They took all necessary precautions for COVID safety, making us feel secure while dining there. We would definitely return. They also accept credit cards, with a minimum purchase of $10, which is a nice convenience.

The food is delicious, and the customer service is outstanding! This place is a true local gem, where the staff makes you feel right at home. With great prices and a solid menu, it's truly a hidden treasure in the Adirondacks.

This is definitely a fantastic spot to visit while you're in the mountains, especially if you're taking Route 87; it's not too far from Adirondack. The staff is very friendly, and the food is fresh and diverse.

What a sweet little stain! The food was very good and our waitress was friendly and efficient. We even got cute Black Bear T-shirts to remember our visit.

Saw Black bear on the way back from Schroon lake. Waitress was very friendly, and the food came out so fast. I had the meatloaf dinner it was very good with real mashed potatoes with red skins and delicious brown gravy, kraft Mac and cheese for my daughter which is perfect because she doesn't like the fancy kind, husband had a papa bear burger and fries good sized portion and he said very good, and my son had chicken qusadillas which he said were fair. We will def be back. Always a fan of down home country food.
