L'Osteria - Potsdam

One star for the beautiful location. We waited minutes for drinks, an hour for the food and then they served only half of the dishes. Rest came minutes later the pizza was stone cold. Instead of making a new one it was...warmed up in the oven and therefore too crispy. Worst service ever! This restaurant survives just because of the location. What an unused opportunity!!!

Coshy Italian Restaurant with pasta food and large Pizza cm). Pub atmosphere with beer, eine and coctails. Very tasty food and good prices. Very friendly staff. Recommendation: order your table in advance of the visit.

Arrived there on a sunday around pm, quite filled with a few bigger tables free. Service did not want to give us persons) a table for persons. Rude waiter offered us to wait or leave. We decided to leave, no reason to...pay for such a service. Got pushed out then. We will never try this restaurant again.

In summary terrible service. After spending a nice day at the royal grounds in Potsdam we decided to stop at L'Osteria as the patio location on the river edge was very inviting. However, the gentleman who greeted us adults, a toddler and two...infants) was immediately rude. Once we were seated, the experience did not improve. The servers were inattentive and sometimes flat out rude (for example, they did not initially want to bring a glass of milk for one of the children). The food was OK but not remarkable, other than the pizzas which were large and quite good. If you care at all about your service experience I would recommend you try somewhere else.

A local friend warned me about the service in this restaurant. But it was a nice day, with a crave of our group to pizzas. Hey, part of us ordered beer, and after half an hour, we didn’t get it. Not speaking about ordering food....The staff was there, the restaurant was almost empty. But they were so arrogant. We left, never again.
