The Ship Leopard Boutique Cafe

We spent 2 comfortable nights here. The owners kindly let us park up early on the day we arrived and late on the day we left. This enabled us to maximise our time in the Royal Naval Dockyard, which is a couple of steps away. The location is excellent for that and the Gunwharf, very close and full of standard restaurants and many nice shops. The view from our room was fabulous. It was very clean, good bed and lovely shower. Very nice, generous cooked breakfast in the morning. It is a bit noisy from the road but we expected that as the hotel is opposite the Harbour station. We slept with the window open but if you are v noise sensitive you would need it shut. We enjoyed watching the station bustle, where trains buses and boats link up!

We absolutely adored this restaurant. If you're not seeking something trendy or contemporary, but instead desire a clean, cozy, and convenient spot with a fantastic breakfast and safe parking, then this is the place for you. There are plenty of nearby pubs and restaurants for your convenience. Additionally, you can enjoy a day of shopping at the mall right across the street. We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for accommodations in Portsmouth.

Well let's start at the top. Superb location. If arriving by train you only have to cross the road from the station and the hotel is in front of you. Secure customer parking, if arriving by car. A lift. Say no more. Lovely room overlooking the Spinnaker Tower and HMS Warrior, with beutiful views across to Gosport. Clean room comfortable bed, lovely towels and toiletries and tea coffee making facilities. Great breakfast, brilliant service. Kippers, full English. Fruit, yogurt toast juice, cereal you name it. This knocks some expensive hotels we have stayed at. And thank you to all of the staff, especially Jeremy on Sunday evening at the bar, for good conversation. Thank you guys.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in late July 2022. It is a lovely hotel with very helpful and pleasant staff. Excellent location, close to the dockyards, train and bus stations. The lift was not working but we were helped with the luggage by staff and also when in a big rush when we needed to get down fast at checkout to catch a train in a hurry. Staff gave us good advice as to what to see and where the good restaurants were. The breakfast was excellent. Will stay there again. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.
