I booked this pub for 7 that was brilliant, very good waiter, pointed to a special offer on the wine list that saved £12, he didn't have to, but I was very grateful. eating was better than expected, I had lamb shank, it was massive. very cheap, we also had a Sunday dinner there, exceptionally good value.

We went to this restaurant on a Sunday and were impressed by the efficient and friendly staff. The food was excellent, although we found the vegetables to be quite hard (the carrots tasted raw). We were advised to request softer vegetables next time. Thankfully, they were able to accommodate us, so it's recommended to make a reservation. The gravy was exceptional and definitely a highlight of the meal.

Absolutely amazing pub. my wife and I had our high-time recipe and breakfast here. eating was as always stunning and charlotte and the team were top-class. I love this pub anyway that just cut off what a super place it is with first class staff. can not be high enough of thanks for their efforts at our special day.

Had a frying with family today. very friendly service. fab food. staff very helpful. would always come back. the same catering company that we have organized our high-time dinner and event at the rugby club, run this pub and we can not mistake it again! pity that they would have closed so early after eating on a Sunday, as it would have loved to stay longer, the opening times vary, so that the message before going to book if for eating on Sunday.

I just had our high-time reception. eating was fantastic and the young who walked it are so beautiful and accommodating. everyone still runs over eating! portion sizes are also very large. that is a good value for money. 5* all the way
