Always great this place. A very special place, only for very special occasions for me. Friday 15th Dec; lunch. THE best beef I have ever eaten. In fact I have said it was the best meal I've ever had. It really was that good but, I don't want to disrespect a couple of other great meals out this year. Amazing New Years Eve . Food delicious staff excellent with friendly , helpful service. Loved Knightingales , great singing trio. Usually restaurants standards slip a NYE bt this was not the case here. A memorable night out.

Burnt bacon and bap on burger. Might have sent it back if weren't so hungry. Merlot was OK. Someone said mussells were pretty decent. My daughter enjoyed her halloumi burger.

Great welcome, service was decent and the food good too. Not a WOW experience but it did not disappoint and that is all you can ask for. One member of the group is a picky eater who is not a veggie but likes a meat free menu and she was very happy with her menu optione here.
