Friendly Toast - Portsmouth

First experience there today. I’ve been searching almost every week for ‘the’ breakfast place to really hit the spot. Found it today, finally. Loved the quirky design and choices on the menu. never mind the huge servings. A lot of bang for the buck. Our server I believe was Carol, and never had to wait for her and everyone else was very hospitable and down to earth. I liked that. If you find yourself looking through reviews for your next breakfast spot. This place is it.

I cannot begin to tell you how amazing this place was. It was super crowded so we sat at the bar. The waitress was friendly and helpful. My husband got a nitro brew iced coffee that was like a beer. Yum. The menu is really big which makes it hard to decide but I ended up getting the avocado toast geek to Greek (or something like that). The best part was the flavors of avocado, greens, feta, sunny side up egg and tahini. Wow. An explosion of flavor. I highly recommend this place. Really cute and kitschy too. And I watched as someone got a flight of **** Mary’s. Brilliant

Everything on the menu is amazing! The homemade bread is the best I've ever tasted. I make it a point to visit every time I'm in Portsmouth.

What a great place!!! My boyfriend and I went there spur of the moment. There we met Shannon, our waitress, but the bartender for the restaurant. She was very friendly, very knowledgeable, and told us how much she loved working there. She gave us suggestions on all the plates we had an interest in, and added a couple more suggestions. The place was awesome to look at, music was great! The food probably one of the best I ever had!! It was completely awesome!!! Way to go Friendly Toast!!!! You outdo yourselves!!! Definitely going back many times

Our first time here today and it lived up to its reputation 100%. The Belgian Waffle Caribbean was so delicious. The portion was so big, I brought half home and had it for dessert with ice cream. Winner winner.
