What a fabulous place. If you look in and it looks empty do not be put off the dining room is not visible. Bustling with locals, food was top rate great home style cooking and amazing wine. Staff advised and looked after us perfectly. Will return when next in Porto.

Um restaurante clássico, com mesas disputadas, comida muito caseira e bem e feita a um custo/beneficio bastante positivo. A espetada de peru é ótima, assim como a rabanada, um clássico da casa.

Very recommended. Antunes is a hidden gem in the streets of Lisbon. Once you enter, you will feel an authentic Portuguese atmosphere with surprisingly beautiful interior. Food and service is ideal for a very low price. Tip: Try the house specialty for 2 people, pig knee

Recommended this place by a friend who was a local. In any case, it is a favorite for locals to play with the messages in the background instead of music, and LARGE portions at reasonable prices. I would say the food is good for the price, but also I was absolutely thrilled with the atmosphere, very different from the Fancier downtown restaurants catering to tourists.

Dining room maybe about 60 seats. Service is excellent. I had recommended Portuguese steak from the waiter as soon as he told me that pork was too big for me (see later and he was right! . I had the Portuguese steak and Joey had Bacalhau, baked cod. The Rabanadas A Antunes (French Toast) had to taste for dessert. Everything was great.
