Had to remind her a few times of things we ordered and hadn’t yet received. Empty cocktails, wine, Empty water glasses too often. Apps were great, KFC Bao, Spicy fried chicken, dumplings, edamame, seaweed salad. Bbq items were just okay. Veggies had 0 seasoning, just raw veggies. We waited on the rice and Ssam for way way too long. Had the meat and veggies long before. So it wasn’t a cohesive meal. Accompaniments were much too small to actually be shared between the 2-3 people it recommended. We’d try upstairs if we ever decide to go back. But not downstairs again, now do we feel the need to go again.
We went during the week and it was very quiet but according to the staff, its quite busy on weekends. I can tell this will be a great Saturday night out experience; authentic Korean BBQ with a nice presentation. Food quality appeared very high and the staff was friendly. Only complaints is are the price and speed of service. The bill for 2 people was about 140 (for one of the BBQ platters). Also the service was very slow.
Poor service, food was underspiced and really quite bland. Music was very loud, making conversation difficult.
We sat at the bar. It took 45 mins for an appetizer and then explained that there was only 1 person in the kitchen (which could have been helpful to know in advance). Luckily I was with good company and we weren’t in a rush but the people next to us left before they got their food.
Took an hour to get our drinks, another hour for food...way overpriced. I got the spring grain bowl $16 for a lot of fluff...drink was good but was snatched before I could finish it. Unimpressed won’t be back.
