Yomi Sushi - Portland

Disappointing experience. I called ahead to ask for a reservation and was told I didn’t need one, they had plenty of availability. Paid for parking, walked in and the employee looked us over (dressed up for a show at the Keller) and told us it would be at least a 45 min wait, even though there were a number of empty tables. When I explained I’d called earlier and was told there was ample availability, she shrugged us off. IDK if she just didn’t like us personally or they were short staffed, but definitely not a great experience.

This is my go-to sushi spot when I have a hankering for fresh, made-to-order sushi. It is in a wonderful location, very casual, and delightful folks run it. Highly recommend for both dining in and take-out.

The PERFECT no-frills sushi spot in this area !! Been in Portland since last summer and my partner I were thrilled to have finally found our sushi spot *Solid simple menu *Delicious not overly stuffed rolls *Nailed the environment ambiance *Exceptional service that made you feel like family, which was just lovely since it's family owned ! We were well taken care of well fed we can't wait to come back !

Lots of great varieties of sushi rolls, fresh sashimi, and nice family owned business!
