Urban German Wursthaus - Portland

Best chicken schnitzel in PDX and great beer. Scenic views of the St. John’s bridge and West Hills. A little pricey though!

Portland is blessed with the choice in German restaurants, but this is the best. First, the atmosphere is amazing with a view of the St. John?s bridge. The food is excellent. Large beer selection. Great staff. Oh and super child and dog friendly.

Second time here in three days. How the conversation went: ?Where should we go? I want something good but we?re not all that familiar with the area.? ?That German restaurant was really good. And they have a great beer selection.? ?Yeah. I could really go for some German beer; let?s do it!? It did not disappoint! Wish we had a place like this in Phoenix that was closer to where we live ?.

Delicious food, fresh beer, and views of the St. John's Bridge make this an absolute must stop in Portland.

Good beer selection with big glasses. The pretzel and bratwurst was the right size to leave room for dessert. The seasonal apple strudel was like having a fresh baked pie with ice cream. Very good overall but the parking lot can be to capacity at times.
