I couldn't pause long enough for a proper photo as you can see. Super cute atmosphere, great outdoor seating with both coveredand uncovered options. Dog friendly. Staff is friendly and quick to get out orders. It's been on my list for a while to try andI'm so glad the stars aligned for this meal. Real, traditional Mexican food can be so hard to find in the various other placesI've lived so it's a real treat to find so many amazing options in Portland. This place is definitely high ranking!
I have celiac disease and have never experienced any gluten contamination from the tamales at this restaurant. I greatly appreciate the additional precautions they take to ensure my safety, which prevents me from getting sick for an extended period of time. Additionally, the food is amazing and delicious. I highly recommend it.
This place is okay. I wouldn't be looking for it, but I'd eat here if friends were invited. My husband says the Burritos are the best to be fair, I didn't try. A bummer was that on Friday at 6:00 no chicken was available. I said it was a few hours. Otherwise waiter was nice, service was prompt, price fair, and no wait, in a beautiful outdoor terrace with a fire pit. Very dog friendly and friendly place too.
Veg. Food Review: Bland Food. That's pretty how I put it together. When I say Bland, I don't mean hot. I mean flavors. There was hardly any taste in the Burrito bowl. Not the salsa and chips. So popular, but definitely different from what I had eaten a long time ago. Unfortunately. I'm sure it looked good. Service was nice.
I love Tamale. What I loved about these fools is that they were not dry. The regularly wound Tamale was spot on, but the banana leaf wrapped tamale was unreal, so amazing taste. Must try it!
