Momoyama - Portland

Hiro san David took excellent care of us tonight. Excellent selection of unique Japanese inspired cocktails. 15-course omakase was a special treat for a special occasion. Will definitely return. The black cod was surreal. The expert traditional preparation of the sushi sets Momoyama apart from all the other sushi restaurants in Portland.

Wow, so so so good. We got the short ribs, the squid ink pasta, salmon and tuna rolls. Eel and tamago sushi. All super good! You will love it. Parking is on the street, not too difficult. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We ate so much we could barely walk! Lol

The sushi at this restaurant is just as fresh and delicious as what I had in Japan. The salmon sampler was top-notch, and the toro was excellent. The service was friendly and attentive, and Pam was especially great!

The sushi at this restaurant is both delicious and unique. Our favorites were the tuna tower and the grilled octopus, which was incredibly delicate and flavorful. The rainbow roll, although not out of the ordinary, was still fresh and delicious. Our waiter, David, had a fantastic attitude and provided us with excellent recommendations.

Our dining experience was fantastic! Our top picks were the salmon on crispy rice and the fatty tuna nigiri. All the rolls were delicious and the service was quick!
