The tofu is tender and flavorful, and a touch of broccoli and cabbage adds a nice balance to the dish. Plus, cans of soda are only $1. Don’t forget to tip generously!
I enjoyed a delicious vegetarian curry with tofu and vegetables from the food truck. I was impressed that they could prepare any dish completely vegetarian, which can be a challenge at some Thai restaurants. Overall, I was very satisfied, and the price-to-quality-to-quantity ratio is excellent here.
The tofu was exceptional. This is truly one of the few authentic Thai food carts in the area. I ordered the pad thai, which is a good benchmark dish, and I was really satisfied with it. The tofu option is more affordable, so I only paid $7 for a generous serving of delicious food, and they also included extra vegetables like broccoli and carrots with the tofu. The only downside was that the wait time was a bit longer, but it wasn't unreasonable. Many carts were closed for the holidays, so they may have been busier than usual.
This is the best Thai food in Portland. Most of the veggies are prepped daily, so the curry I get is fresh. They have brown rice, rewards, and the little lady that runs it is super cool. My favorites are pumpkin and mango curry. You can watch your food made, and I have personally witnessed the owner cutting up my mango for my meal. Brown rice extra spicy no meat
Always delicious and good portions/price. This is a popular cart for a good reason.
