Gin Thai Brasserie - Portland

I don't really understand all the glowing reviews. I ordered a cup with chicken and tofu, but instead I received noodles with a chicken leg—no cuts as expected—and she forgot the tofu. The service was inconsistent. My husband ordered another Thai iced tea, and they brought me one as well. I suppose that's a clever way to increase the bill.

The food was expertly prepared and served promptly! The highlight was that even with wine and beer, the overall cost was quite reasonable!

I was delighted to discover this restaurant in the neighborhood. The food was outstanding, and the prices were quite reasonable. I look forward to returning soon.

We've been 3 times and have loved every dish we have ordered; our new favorite local Thai restaurant. It's a small place, and the tables are a bit close together, but once the place fills up you don't feel like you're eaves dropping on your neighbor.

Authentic and flavorful Thai dishes. Nice ambiance for a date night.
