El Pilon Colombian Food - Portland

We stumbled on this food truck while checking out the record store across the way. We both love Latin food, as my wife is from Brazil. The fried yuca is the best I've ever had!! Will definitely eat here again when in Portland!! I made the girl at the window laugh speaking Spanish to her...well, i speak Portuguese not Spanish exactly ? Gracias por la comida fantastica, senorita! ??

Delicious Arepas and jugos! My favorite is the Arepa El Pilon! The Soursap and Passionfruit jugos del agua are pefect not too sweet! Everything here is tasty and made fresh to order. Authentic Columbian street food and the lovely people running it make this a sweet little treasure in downtown Portland.

I lived in Colombia for over 5 years and I hadn’t found any food that tasted like the real deal until here! The flavors are legit authentic, and honestly this food tastes better and is less oily than street food in Colombia. Seriously if you want to taste authentic colombian food just eat here!

Had the shredded beef arepa, Hawaiian empanada, beef empanada, and passion fruit juice with milk. Everything was amazing! My new favorite place to eat in Portland!

Amazing Colombian food!! We had the arepas and empanadas and they were amazing. I especially liked the Hawaiian empanada. Very friendly people, always smiling and helpful in picking out what to get.Food: 5/5
