Bayside American Cafe - Portland

This restaurant offers the best brunch I've ever had, and their dinners are fantastic as well. However, I avoid going on weekends due to the lengthy wait times. Unfortunately, the only waiting area is outside on the street. I really wish they would accept reservations! On weeknights, though, I haven't experienced the same issue, which is a shame because the food is equally delightful at that time. It's also a great spot for vegetarians.

During our visit from out of state, we stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised by how friendly the gentleman at the front and the waitstaff were. They welcomed us warmly and were incredibly attentive to our needs, even offering suggestions for local sightseeing. The food was exceptional. From the beautiful presentation on the plate to the exquisite taste, everything was cooked to perfection. I’ve never had a brunch quite like it—affordably priced and the best I’ve experienced. I highly recommend anyone in the area or visiting to stop by this place!

This is quite possibly the best breakfast I've ever had! The lobster Benedict is absolutely life-changing. The pancakes with syrup are to die for—no kidding! And those home fries? Incredible!

We were in town for a basketball tournament and decided to grab breakfast on Sunday morning, June 11, based on a friend's recommendation. Our experience at the restaurant was outstanding! The Eggs Benedict was exceptional, and everyone in our group loved their breakfast dishes. We also shared a cinnamon bun pancake that was simply amazing! The mimosa was delightful as well. Dining on the lower patio outside made the experience even better. To top it all off, the boys won their basketball bracket that afternoon—who knows, maybe it was the breakfast that helped! This place is definitely a must-visit, and we can't wait to return!

Excellent service, gorgeous location, friendly staff, food was amazing with large portions I couldn’t finish. Worth the trip and the money. Highly recommend
