Artemis Foods - Portland

I've collaborated with numerous caterers in the wedding industry, and I can confidently say that Artemis stands out as one of the best! I had the pleasure of working with them last week at Ecotrust Irving Street Studio. Their food was exceptional, their team exhibited professionalism throughout, and I highly recommend them to anyone in search of a top-notch full-service catering company. As a Certified Green Wedding Planner, I also encourage anyone who is conscious of their wedding's environmental impact to choose Artemis.

I usually don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience. This was by far the worst catering company I've encountered. They offered a limited selection, the service was unprofessional, and the prices were exorbitant. If you're looking to spend $10,000 on a single dish for your guests, I would suggest calling anyone but this place. It was truly unbelievable and incredibly disappointing.

We recently worked with the Artemis team and had a wonderful experience. They are extremely detail oriented and organized, making the planning process smooth and easy. Our mouths were watering all day while they cooked on-site, wow it smelled so good! Dinner was incredible; exquisite presentation, timely, appropriate portions, and so much flavor. The salmon practically melted in our mouths. We highly recommend Artemis and look forward to the next opportunity.

Artemis Foods was 100% the right choice for our wedding.First and most importantly all of the food was delicious, and not just for wedding food. I'm still receiving compliments.We loved that the food was local and seasonal. Really showed off NW flavors to our visiting East Coast family members. Finally Lauren was wonderful to work with.We had to move our date several times due to the pandemic and she was so flexible and gracious. We had our wedding in July of 2021 and Artemis Foods catered and helped guide the most seamless event I have been to! They were absolutely wonderful to work with. My partner and I had never planned an event this large, and they were there for every step of the way. Lauren and her team were so responsive, and very helpful in answering anything we didn’t understand. For the food at our wedding, we really wanted to honor our cultural backgrounds, and Artemis Foods was able to blend our Peruvian and Vietnamese backgrounds into delicious appetizers and distinct entrees that worked beautifully together. We absolutely loved it! Many guests told me afterwards that the food was some of the best wedding food they had ever had. We are also very grateful for Artemis Foods’ flexibility. We originally had our wedding date for the summer of 2020 and were able to postpone without a hitch. Lauren and her team are so professional and the whole event turned out great based on all of our needs. I would recommend them to anyone who has any catering or event planning needs!
