Sakuto Sushi - Portimão

I think this is the best sushi shop in portimao.

The service was not good, the food average at best even though you could eat as much as you like for a low price will not return.

Slightly off centre location opposite Pingo Doce, but easier for parking and the restaurant looks attractive. It's also amazingly cheap at EUR 7 80 for all you can eat lunch or dinner. (for sushi and a few sides if you want a wider range it's a bit more) Nice friendly staff, but the cleaners could try a bit harder (look at the chair legs ... or perhaps not). The main event is the sushi and frankly it is disappointing we didn't think the fish was very fresh, the rice tasted kinda weird and the assembly of the sushi was rather erratic. Though this is cheap, you're much better off elsewhere nearby. We didn't eat much, though (despite the unlimited tariff) and we usually have sushi in Portimao several times a month. Quite literally, we both feel slightly unwell and are planning on skipping supper! Sorry Sakuto you seem nice people but you're not doing this right.

It was after shopping at Pingo Doce that I discovered the restaurant, opened already two years ago. For the price of 7.40 euro lunchtime , there is a choise of 42 kinds of sushi, different kinds od salad, sashimi and grilled dishes. Boxes take away are maybe the cheapest of all japanese/cinese restaurants in Portimao. Every thing is prepared fresh and service is at table. The wines are always bottled and not served by glass but as a good alternative, you can drink a delicious bowl of tea.
