It was a little early for lunch (11 a.m.) but people still went a tortta (why I decided to order an asada) and I was pleasantly surprised! We need to come back with friends so they can try. Also FYI this place sells fresh Mexican bread that AMAZING smelled. A real little hidden jewel in Porterville of all places. Thank you.
The food is good, customer service is great, and the baked good are delicious.
The food is wonderful, the prices are good. On the downside the women's bathroom always smells horrible, just like sewer lines. Summer time their air conditioning is not working properly. There are no shades on the Windows. Makes it super hot facing the Sun. So we have to go early or hurry up and eat when it's hot outside because it's also hot inside.
Great as always! Sweets from the bakery for dessert..classic.
I’ve been going here ever since I was a child. I’ve tried beans and rice from all over the world, but no beans and rice ever compare to Chaguito’s. The rice tastes so authentic and the only thing I would suggest is that they add cheese to their beans. Their tacos are also pretty good, however they are a bit too greasy for my liking.
