Carolina's Cuban Cafe - Port Richey

Very inconceivable location in the corner of a strip-like... but do not let them stop checking this place. the food was great (especially authentic Cuban cuisine) and the service....maybe a little slow on the service side....was still super friendly and helpful.

I was in the opposite, so decided to stop. I came at 1:30 o'clock, so outside normal working hours. When I came in, I was greeted by a very friendly woman who said I could sit anywhere. many of the tables were dirty, but it was just this one woman who worked on the front of the house, so I'm sure the lunch brush was hard on her. I ordered a water, an empanada and a Cuban sandwich. the empanada chest was amazing, very light and airy and also tasteful! I would definitely recommend ordering the empanada. the Cuban sandwich was like a traditional Cuban sandwich with pulled pork, ham, Swiss cheese (I decided against cheese,) lower and pickel. it was a very delicious sandwich, was not the best cuban I had, but it measured up to many big Cubans I tried. the best part was the prizes! my bill was under $14. Overall I give a 5-star rating and if I were back in the opposite, I would definitely come back.

The best Cuban sandwich I've ever had. My wife loves the steak with onions. Great service... authentic Cuban food. Go try them!

Great service! Clean fresh looking establishment! We were super happy with the price and quality of food. It's nice because we don't really have places like this here. I wouldn't have known about it if I didn't see a positive review on face book, we will definitely be back!

Love this place! Always great food and a great dinning experience! Can't go wrong with anything on the menu!
