Port Jefferson Marina

Great village on North shore of Long Island. Hour and half away from city. Harbor, beaches, restaurants and shops make it perfect day trip destination.

Depart here to CT…much quicker than traveling via car/MTA or LIRR and Metro. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking at saving an hour plus in the commute from the Lake Grove area to CT AND also to save on Ez-pass tolls. It definitely has made me feel better not having to drive when I was near this area. Or take the Longer public transit!!! Also, I would think about the other options in the area which are much slower and just the headache of driving on the 495 and also within the CT AREA!

We took the ferry to get to Connecticut. It’s a good shortcut. Good price for the trip and experience.

First time taking the ferry from Port Jefferson to Connecticut, it was amazing I totally recommend it.

Beautiful place to walk around, see beautiful sights of the harbor.
