My family and I had a lovely lunch at this restaurant. The barramundi special and chicken burger meal were both delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly, the service was efficient, and the verandah was clean.

A definite ‘solid’ 4 stars. Large sports bar restaurant with garden at the back, mezzanine floor and good food. For those with a refined palate who are looking for delicacy, quiet and customer service it is easily argued there are better places to dine in the vicinity. However, this is a good bet if you have a family and haven’t booked. The food is pub grub with a few Port Douglas special additions. It’s not overly expensive and kids meals are half price between 5 6pm. Steak was good (would have preferred it to be bigger), barramundi was excellent, prawns were delicious and veg (carrots broccoli) was fresh well cooked. Multiple bars so you’re not waiting too long to get served. The food arrived quickly considering it was busy. This is the place to go if you’ve a family and want a ‘sure bet’ it’s definitely an all rounder.
