Local hangout with friendly service and decent eating. the steak was great; order the mixed grill with the rump for the best worth and ask for chips made crispy.

Very, very disappointed. The friendly service did not make up for the disappointing food and ambiance. The menu is way too long, which was a red flag, yet we decided to give it a chance. Everything was frozen. It was the worst meal we had in a month in South Africa. Giving it 2 stars because we did not get sick.

In three weeks in South Africa, this was the worst meal and unfortunately only inedible one we had. My mothers steak was raw in the middle but somehow burnt on the outside. I guess this might be classed as well done rare. My chicken was also not cooked and my vegetables were tasteless like they had come straight from the freezer. Our waiter was very friendly, however this can not make up for the very very poor food.

Worst service I have ever experienced. Phoned to pre order two pizzas at 18:00, lady only took down my name, not even a phone number and also not very friendly after I asked what pizzas are on the menu. Requested for pizza to be ready at 19:00, arrived at 18:45 only to find out due to loadshedding they would only be able to bake pizzas at 19:10 once the power came back on after loadshedding. The barman assured us the pizzas would take no more than 20mins. At 20:00 went inside to the bar to find out that the pizzas were finished. While we were waiting we had 2 drinks and ordered onion rings, which also would you be surprised, were cold en extremely oily when they arrived. Definitely would not come here again, the sad thing is only 2 restaurants exist in this small town. One would expect excellent service which is unfortunately not the case.
