Macdaddy's Family Kitchen

Our waitress was incredibly attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. It was a lovely evening to dine on the veranda. The grilled fish of the day was Mahi Mahi, which I found to be very tasty! The fried chicken was outstanding. The bread accompanying the meal was delightful! The mac and cheese was fabulous, and I'd love to have a large bowl of it. The shrimp were exceptional as well!

I highly recommend avoiding this restaurant! The food is overpriced and lacks seasoning, and the service is terrible. The mac and cheese had no cheese at all. My husband ordered a burger with fries, but they only brought the fries and not the burger. After waiting for 10 minutes, we had to track someone down to ask about the burger, only to find out they didn’t have any! It's unbelievable that they served an adult man just a portion of fries. The coleslaw hardly resembles southern-style, if it can even be called coleslaw at all! I took a bite and had to spit it out. I ended up sending back the $25 meal of cold, unpleasant food. The waiter didn’t return with the revised order either. We will definitely not be coming back here!

As for drinks, the selection was a bit overwhelming, so I decided to go with a flight that included two margaritas, two sangrias, and a delicious piña colada. I highly recommend trying that drink!

Delicious food, but definitely an expensive meal. We had 4 adults and 2 children at our party and on Tuesday at 6:00 it was almost an hour. Food was quite fast (about 30 minutes) and bar lasted about 10 minutes for our drinks. Our server was AMAZING and I'm meeting because I didn't catch his name. He was fast and attentive, very nice guy. We have the loaded potato friars that was kind of spicy, but huge plate for the table. We shared the Macdaddy Burger (Rache) and got two additional Mac and cheese. I also have a delicious and huge melon margarita. All this came to $62 without tip

Very short wait. Cream corn is outstanding. My wife liked the brisket and I preferred the sausage. Try the hot bbq sauce. I 'm a fan even though hot is not how I would describe it. Ribs were dry. Brisket was over done, but tasty. Great help
