Couyon's Bbq - Port Allen

Today, we discovered a hidden gem thanks to Google Maps. The food was outstanding, and the staff was fantastic. In our group, we enjoyed a variety of dishes including meatloaf, pork, brisket, okra, mac and cheese, and hush puppies. Everything was delicious! Additionally, we had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, who provided us with excellent recommendations for things to see and do while we’re in Baton Rouge. We can't wait to return!

On our journey from Houston to Athens, GA, we stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant. Wow! I ordered the three meat plate, which came with okra, mac and cheese, and shrimp in a flavorful sauce. While I only managed to eat the sides, I tried everything and it was all absolutely delicious!

Excellent! The flavors are amazing and really tantalize the taste buds. The atmosphere is just right, and the service is incredibly friendly. Overall, a fantastic experience!

The service was excellent from above all the way to the guy cleaning the tables! The grill was great! The brisket melts in the mouth! I recommend if you're in the area!

The food, service, portions and price are all great. Best baked beans, baked potatoes are enormous and loaded, BBQ is great and i haven't eaten anything there that wasn't great. This place is a must try. I call ahead and place my order and when i get there i pay for it and am on my way home in just a couple minutes
