Amazing food, amazing service. They were super quick in getting food out for our 15 person party and it was really good. Highly recommend the Roast beef dinner and Solda burger.

One of those unique family restaurants that has a strong bond and patronage from the community but tasted strangers as family. Outstanding and personable service from exceptionally hard working staff. Good food and portions. Limited alcohol choices but that is good. This is a FAMILY restaurant. Exceptional dessert choices from local bakeries. No question. You will feel comfortable and welcome here from the time you walk in the door to the time you reluctantly depart.

No matter what the heck Google says Solda's restaurant is permanently CLOSED FOR GOOD! They have retired and sold the property. It's the end of the Solda's story. After many decades of carrying on the family tradition the restaurants last day was yesterday (Dec 4th, 2022). They have all earned a well deserved retirement. Kudos to the Solda's family for taking care of the Port Alberni community (and guests from all over the world) for so many years with their culinary expertise.
