Rail Trail Cafe - POREPUNKAH

Friendly service, nice food, big servings and a lovely outdoor seating area. Great for a rest stop on the Murray to mountain rail trail.

We visit the Bright area a lot and thought we would visit the café for brunch as we had never been. I decided not too order anything because the whole place just looked a little grotty to me. Husband ordered the breakfast burrito - which he ate as he was hungry but it was soggy and he didn't enjoy at all. Son got French toast that was also soggy and he thought was not cooked properly. My coffee was luke warm and weak. Sorry guys, will not be back again......

This cafe was recommended as a great place for an early morning coffee. Great coffee and friendly service, even ffirst up in the morning. An interesting looking breakfast menu as well.

We arrived back from a walk towards the end of the afternoon but despite this we were served homemade scones, cream and jam and fresh pots of hot tea. Interesting menu.

Really excellent food and coffee. Another great place to stop for a bite if traveling in the area. Being right on the Trail, this Cafe is perfect for replenishing burnt kilojoules after a few hours in the saddle.
