Route 66 - POPOLI

The pub starts around 19:30. It has sufficient selection of beers at least for the southern Italy where it is not obvious. We had a beer and burgers. Burgers were just OK, I often ate much better, but the meat was OK. It was served only with lettuce and no other ingredients like onion, tomatoes, cucumber etc. Fries are served as separate dish,

No frills,late night hangout for locals,fast food available with a large selection of beers from all over Europe. The premises is decorated with Route 66 memorabilia.

Not a restaurant but a quite popular pub. Road music, road tramps but also families who come for french fries (several sizes) and burgers. I am not fond of burgers thinking of Macs and Burger's But here there is a choice of meats and I did have a really great tasty one of special local beef. A great choice of beers and several fresh draft. Yeah it is a bit of a seedy place, but on THE road pubs should be.
