Mortimer's Roadhouse - Poplar Grove

The food was tasty, but it took a long time to be ready. A Speck cheeseburger without bacon and 3 tacos took 30 minutes to arrive.

We go to this restaurant every week to catch up with friends. The food is always excellent and the service is top-notch! It is one of our go-to spots for dining out. We particularly enjoy the guacamole.

I absolutely love Mort's! The staff is awesome, remembers my drink, and genuinely cares about the people they serve. I watched once when a lady was with someone who seemed like they were on the path to becoming abusive and the owner carefully let her know that she was safe here and just needed to signal if/when she needed help. I feel like this is a real life Cheers and always look forward to ending my Friday nights here.

I love this place! Everyone is so friendly and the food is great! Friday fish fry is awesome! Bartenders are terrific!
