Comemos algumas torradas e sucos no final da tarde. Disseram-nos que não havia mais nada, a coca-cola estava bem quente. O garçom foi gentil, mas o bar estava bastante sujo e os banheiros sujos e sem papel higiênico. O local fica perto do rio então iríamos ignorar, só que os cartões não foram aceitos e tivemos que caminhar 10 minutos para retirar.

We had some toasts and juices in the late afternoon. We were told there was nothing else, the coca-cola was proper warm. The waiter was kind, but the bar was rather dirty and the toilets unclean and without toilet paper. The spot is near the river so we would ignore, except then cards were not accepted and we had to walk 10 min to withdraw.

Hambúrgueres muito bons, as batatas caseiras são igualmente muito saborosas. Mas o que mais me tocou foi a simpatia dos empregados, e a sua atenciosidade. O ambiente na esplanada, espetacular com vista para o rio.

Perfeito para viver com amigos em silêncio. um grande terraço perto do rio e grande serviço. Aspirem as malditas graças!

The photos of the food looked good so we were tempted. Will just stay with the problem of the vegan burger: First, it was much more expensive than the meat ones. 8 euros! Secondly, as it was vegan there was no cheese. When asked to have cheese added I was told this was not an option. It seems very unclear why not. In the UK, one of the most vegan vegetarian friendly countries, almost twice as many are vegetarian to vegan, so why only have the vegan option? Having said that, the burger that did come with cheese was a thin slice of almost nothing on the top of the bun. Thirdly, the burger itself was quite nice, but the whole experience could have been so much nicer with some decent cheese, or mayo... Will not return, and thankfully there are plenty of other places to try in the area.
