We visited twice so far (and might be coming back! well worth the climb. Had tuna steak and battered fish with banana all served with sides corn fritters (freshly fried crispy outside and soft inside , chips or boiled potatoes you need to specify if you want boiled potatoes. You have to order a fresh side salad separately (not expensive and to be eaten with a drizzle of their wine vinegar and olive oil don't need any extra seasoning . We also had garlic butter bread absolutely delicious served hot, crispy outside and not stodgy, could eat it all night long. Bottle of wine served in the ice bucket. Service great, the lady very polite and taking time to understand what we wanted and how we wanted.
Awesome BBQ chicken, great price, really nice typical restaurant. Also great: the Espetada. Kitchen is open until 10 pm.
If I could give a 3.5 I would. Picado was very good as was the barbecued chicken. The steak was a little under done but was still very good. The Garlic Bread and the chips were good. The Vianetta desert had been allowed to melt before being refrozen and served. The TV is set on a bit of a loud setting and could do with turning down a bit. The TV is not for the staff's entertainment and is a distraction to the diners and would be especially so for tourists.Overall good value.
Very confusing porsions we ordered sides and chicken and one food of the day, came with sides, did ask, but told was all together ordered side salad bigger than double salad very confusing but food was good
