The Au Manoir - Pont-l'Évêque

Strolling through the beautiful town of Pont l'Eveque we came across The au Manoir. The first room is dedicated to glass ware. You then pass through into the seating area which is dominated by a dining table with fine crockery all for sale. My wife wanted to buy the lot. The room doubled as a tea room serving a variety tea's cakes and macaroons. All to a high standard to the refrain of Frank Sinatra and Cuban Salsa. The toilette was a pleasant surprise. Visit and you will see!! The owner was so polite and knowledgeable. Everything about this place is first rate. Why there isn't a queue and people beating down the door for this haven of tranquility is a mystery. Thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent there. Highly recommend !!

These charming tea rooms are well worth a visit. Set in a beautiful historic building, there is a wide selection of organic teas to enjoy, served by charming hosts.
