Mack's American Grill - Pompton Lakes

The service was outstanding. The host was incredibly friendly, and my waiter, while not very visible, was pleasant. As for the food, I'm not sure if it was just tonight's preparation or the chef, but for the price I paid, it didn't meet my expectations. The shrimp tacos were not very good—I'd recommend skipping those. However, the steak was fantastic, though it leaned a bit more towards rare, so if you prefer medium, that would be the ideal choice. Overall, I probably would have chosen a different place, but it wasn't a bad experience.

The service was good, and all the staff were helpful and friendly to my family. However, the food was below average, and the atmosphere didn’t stand out. I wouldn't return unless someone else was keen to go back.

The food was quite good. I thought the wings were definitely a highlight, while the burger was a little lacking in flavor. However, the prices are reasonable, and the wait staff is very friendly, so it's definitely worth checking out.

Its Nice to have a local place to eat that has a comfortable feel, a menu that has a nice balance of family friendly options to some select elevated specials for those looking for something special. Had the pork chops, outstanding! Love to come here for a night out or after a long day.
