Oceanic - Pompano Beach

The first time there for lunch with my husband. Great bar service. We reserved a table, but in the end we stayed in the bar. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. This is our Go-to-Platz over the weekend. I recommend the sunrise shrimp it is delicious.

Great location with fabulous architecture. Really good food with a little bit high price. 40 minutes waiting for the food to be ready but finally everything was perfect thanks to our nice waitress l.

Perfect location, perfect weather, perfect company I had a pleasure to have brunch with my good friend at Oceanic Pompano. It was wonderful. We sat outside and it was WONDERFUL. The food was AMAZING, the service was great. J our server was great. He was nice, kind and gave us recommendations and checked to make sure we had everything we need at our table. I would definitely comeback.

My partner and I went on our dinner date to this restaurant on Saturday 9th of July. This is our honest review about our experience at Oceanic restaurant. We normally go to the Beach House restaurant which is right next to Oceanic. We wanted to try a different place so we went to Oceanic. We didn't schedule a reservation so we had to wait for 30 minutes which wasn't a long wait for a Saturday evening table especially on the beach. I did asked the hostess if there's somewhere we can sit. She told us the bar but it was pretty full. I looked around and saw a room that had seating and wasn't in used(my suggestion, used it for your guests as a waiting room while they order a cocktail or two), also there were two relaxing chairs behind the hostess. We asked if we can sit there and was told yes, in which we did. My first impression, the restaurant was very beautifully designed and decorated, most of the staff were very friendly. We were seated outside which was cover and you can hear the beautiful music playing upstairs. Our server was super friendly with amazing energy that we loved. Since it was our first time at the restaurant we had to asked a few questions about the menu and food and drinks suggestions. I had the coconut mojito and my girl ordered a virgin mojito with blood orange(she's not a drinker). When the drinks were served and we took our first sip we both made the same face. My drink tasted very sweet a light taste of alcohol, my girl drink were very very tart and tasted like just lemon water, it was clear looking and no taste of the blood orange. The waiter checked in and asked how was the drinks, and I told him what we thought. He wanted to fixed it but we told him we'll just add water to the drinks. The starter and main course were really delicious . The atmosphere and ambiance was just perfect. One of the employees took a photo of myself and my girl together and invited us to come back to Oceanic, I'm assuming he was maybe the manager. Well at least he had a management/promoter vibe. Oceanic is located on Pompano Beach with lots of parking in the area, you can go with or without reservations and the price wasn't to bad. I may plan a ladies night there before the summer is over. All in all we loved it there. I gave 4 stars because of the drinks(even thought they made it right by taking one drink off the bill).

Absolutely love this place. It's a stones throw from the beach and ocean. The braised short ribs are simply amazing. The server and staff were courteous and very attentive. Besides the food being amazing, it was Lightning fast.
