Harrigan's Hunter Valley - Pokolbin

There wasn't much to choose from on the menu - just a salad, a pizza, and a few sides. I ended up finishing my beer and leaving without ordering any food. Perhaps the restaurant recently changed their menu?

The vegan main dish (corn ribs) was sold out by 6pm, so the only choice was salad. The quinoa, beetroot, rocket, and walnut salad was tasty but could have used some pumpkin or another ingredient to add more flavor. The dessert was a chocolate cake with sorbet, which was also enjoyable. More menu options are needed, especially if the only vegan main dish runs out. The manager was rude to a staff member who asked about vegan gravy, rolling her eyes as if the question was foolish.

This vibrant pub has a fantastic atmosphere. The outdoor dining area is sunny and relaxing, with a band playing some great tunes. I tried the steak sandwich and found the steak cooked perfectly medium with delicious flavors from the sauce and condiments. The chips were outstanding - crunchy, crispy, and absolutely delicious! Overall, a fantastic spot to enjoy a meal with the family.

I would rate the chicken schnitzel as a 4 out of 5. The atmosphere of the restaurant is quite nice. Although my order was forgotten and arrived after everyone else had finished eating, I will overlook it considering they were very busy. I appreciate the staff for handling the large number of customers efficiently.

Went in a large group and found the service to be great, the food was excellent and the general atmosphere was wonderful. Live bands music over the weekend, a great selection of tap beers and of course local wines. We all really enjoyed it. It gets busy so book a table if you are wishing to dine in.
