Terry was our waitress for the duration of our stay and she was amazing, super friendly and service was quick. Prices are also very reasonable I almost felt like I was robbing them the prices were so low but the quantity and quality was excellent! I'll be back next summer and the next and the next because of the excellent service. :Update... I met the owner for the first time and she was not only beautiful but super friendly and she asked me if I was Annie but I think I miss understood and she was actually looking for me Andy, lol . This place is a gold mine, food, service and just the over all atmosphere was such a pleasure to be there. I'm going to miss this place but we'll be back next summer for sure!
I'd really say 3.5 stars. Make sure to approach from Cincinnati Ave, which is a one-way street, to enter the diner's back parking lot. Otherwise, parking can be tough on busy Arnold Ave in summer/tourist season. The food was okay, but service wasn't good. The waitress was very slow in checking in with us, empty glasses sat for quite a while, even though it wasn't that busy. The staff were mostly huddled together talking with each other and one or two local yokels. A woman sitting near us had to send her fish back because it was bad. The waitress agreed and apologized, so be careful there. Food was okay, typical diner fare.
This diner is located in the heart of point pleasant beach. Kids get to watch the trains go by as we relax and eat. The menu is full of fresh and homemade options. Friendly staff the owner is always there working hard. Weekends tend to be busy, (Expected) but we don't mind waiting because we are always sitting with a full cup of coffee friendly conversation.
What a quaint nice place. Love to sit at the counter and enjoy my coffee and breakfast. Always fresh and delicious. Give this place a try. Love the fact they have kids working there, somewhere along the line they need to have jobs and not just playing with tech. Other diners have old hags who smell of smoke, I'll take this anytime, keep up the great work!
Local, family-owned diner. Great burgers and breakfast! The staff is comprised of friendly individuals who are all invested in family appreciation small business. I could sit at the counter with my book and enjoy coffee or hot chocolate all day, or I could take groups of friends for a big brunch Saturday morning, and either way I am quite satisfied by my Beach Diner experience.
