“To each their own” refers to your review, whether positive or negative, doesn’t mean much because I’m an American Italian who is very picky but likes to taste pizza from random pizzerias. So, while visiting NJ shore near Point Pleasant, NJ, someone recommended LUIGIS FAMOUS PIZZA place on Washington Ave here in PP, NJ. It’s raining on this particular Thursday, waiting for hurricane Larry to reach the shore and walked into this small but mighty store front. It’s takeout or delivery! We didn’t want to wait and the pizza displayed in the window offered everything we wanted: Sicilian squares and wedge slices of very thin crusted Margarita with the best flavor. In the uploaded photo I rated good, better, best. My opinion according to sauce, crust and cheese. It all matters. I give my personal review with hopes that readers will just stop by and try it, too. Thanks Susan, you were very pleasant and helpful. We’ll be back and we rank you #1 on our short list of 5 pizza we tasted around PP. Next, off to DeNino per the customer behind us but it’s a distance away.
Excellent thin crust pizza and great alternative to the boardwalk hustle. Pick up and eat a few blocks away outside at Pleasure Park
The pizza here is enormous! They serve a unique cake called "extra big." It's a square, thin-crust pizza made in an old-school style, with corn flour on the bottom of the crust. It's absolutely fantastic!
Joe King is the place to try the unique twisted pizza cake. This cake, along with their other delicious dishes, truly stands out. Don't miss the out-of-this-world Taco Calzone either. Well done, team!
