Gostiona 1928 - Podgorica

We had such a great long lunch here a completely unexpected jewel. The atmosphere is bright, spacious and comfortable. The food was delicious and the portions were huge (maybe share dishes if you are not too hungry). Loved the paprika and the aubergine parmigiana. The house of white wine was also great. Staff were so friendly and even helped us call a bus company to get information about their schedule. definitely go when you visit Podgorica!

Delicious food, great service. We visited this place for a casual dinner. The waiter was very kind and fluent in English. He recommended selection of wines and knew the restaurant menu very well. Price and quality was adequate. The terrace view was great

We were attracted mainly by the interior, and the place is actually really elegant. Honestly I was at first kinda disturbed by recent low reviews, but in fact the food was delicious (we had risottos) and the prices are good (it’s more expensive than places with local cuisine and fast food, but I mean it’s obvious and it’s normal). So if you want to eat something else than the traditional cuisine try this place.

Hidden gem in Podgorica! Elegant stunning interior, serene balcony terrace and good food for Montenegro standards. I’ve been multiple times and experienced service that was incredibly thoughtful and helpful, but unfortunately I also experienced the opposite. Getting only half of what I ordered, no communication at all and even the wrong orders. With the right staff, this place is an absolute dream.

Interior is so cosy and the menu is great but it takes ages to get you food and when you finally get it….very disappointing. Don’t understand their obsession to use flowers on literally every dish that we ordered.
