Navy Inn - Plymouth

Fantastic, just had our ships reunion here. From start to finish the whole experience was brill. Charmaine the manager worked her socks off for us a very special thank you. The buffet was great all the lads enjoyed it immensely . In the afternoon I had the steak and ale pie it was to die for. We really all felt appreciated by the staff at “the navy” So from the the lads of HMS Galatea, a great big thank you.

This pub is excellent, although it may not be the cheapest option. The food is very nice and getting two meals for £18 is good value. The staff is lovely and friendly, and the atmosphere is brilliant. It has become my go-to local whenever I am in town.

Every year during our visit to Plymouth, we make sure to stop by this restaurant for lunch. It never fails to impress. Even my husband, who usually doesn't like chips, devoured them all and claimed they were the best he had ever tasted. He had the Ham, Eggs, and Chips which he described as delicious. I opted for the Chilli, Rice, and Garlic Bread, which was also excellent. The food here is consistently good, the pub is clean, and the staff are friendly. We can't wait to return on our next visit.

The restaurant is clean and welcoming, thanks to the familiar woman named Bev working behind the bar. Bev has been at the pub since the war, and is a legend. There is nowhere else I would rather go with my friends than this place.

My husband and I were told we could only have plastic glasses which was absolutely fine, however the landlady was giving her special friends glasses, not right and not really fair
