What the hell? 730 on a Friday.... Isn 't this when people come to get dinner? I 'm not mad, just confused. Like why are you open for dinner if you won 't take my order for dinner?! Apparently I am a glutton for punishment, this is the third time I have been here in 3 years and the service has not changed, for the better, or for the worse for that matter... So they got that going for them.... Alright I 'll stop complaining, I 'll finish my wine while I wait my now 45 minutes for todays 'special ravioli ' appetizer ... Must be incredibly fresh and very rare for as long as this thing is taking...
Went here for brunch over the winter and was seriously underwhelmed. We'd been wanting to try this place for a couple of years so we hit it on a weekend this winter and was pretty disappointed. At 1pm we were the only party in the dining room, save for a few people at the bar, and the only ones eating. Despite this for a party of five the food which was breakfast fare mind you took over an hour to come out. The menu tries to give a local flavor but ends up being mediocre at best, and barely warm to boot. It should not take this long to deliver eggs, pancakes, and a couple of sandwiches that aren't out of this world. A couple of examples: Steak and eggs, the steak was medium quality, not grilled but tasted pan fried on a medium heat and lacked any salt or seasoning. Attempts to add Portuguese finesse amounted to crumbling an ounce or two of sausage in the omelet along with some greasy, again medium heated, onions. They seem to have a good music set up but wondering if like Cafe Nicole next door or Al's Pizza down the road, they're just surviving on unsuspecting tourists who don't know any better. Sad to see places like this endure when good places with good food and who try hard like Nosh go out...
Randomly went in last night. We were pleasantly surprised. The Caprese salad was one of the best I have had in a long time. The pesto/balsamic mix was spot on the the mozzarella was as fresh as I have had. The homemade ravioli stuffed with Chorizo was decent but lacked a spicy flavor profile. The flatbreads were great, especial the prosciutto and fig. Def worth a visit. There is a Groupon.

While visiting Plymouth Rock we had some dinner here. We ordered couple of tapas and starters. Hummus with bread vegetables: very good home made hummus. Could have some more carrots though to dip in. Guacamole and chips: very delicious pita chips. Guacamole had too little avocado in it. It was more tomato salad with some avocado. Nonetheless delicious. Caprese salad: very good. Loved the mozzarella and the pesto. Overall food tasted good and was presented well. Prices are decent as well. However, the ambience needs some up dating and small repairs. The wood looks bit beat up and you spot chipped paint here and there. Service was good and waitress was very friendly. Overall: A nice place for a dinner with a great view.
