Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken - Plymouth

Lees is by far one of my favorite chicken joints! The chicken is delicious! Great customer service and clean establishment! I will have to make a trip out there one day!

Fast and easy with great food. Even when there is a long line it moves very fast. Awesome service. Tasty food

The kids who work the place were talking a lot and making my order take a long time for just one meal whatever. They forgot my sides which I only noticed when i got home. When I came back they immediately recognized me as an order they had messed up and said they still had my sides. Proceeded to hand me the now 10-15 minute cold potato wedges. I talked to the next person in charge and they said they wouldn’t replace my cold food. It was just one order and i order there a lot because im very close, even though it’s commonly very soggy and not fresh. She then explained they shut the fryers off hours before close and prepare a lot of chicken and wedges in advance. The Livonia location has much better and fresher food in my honest opinion. I felt the service was not good and the food always sub par so I won’t be going back. Literally make a 20 minute drive to Livonia for lees when i live right by the Plymouth location because it’s that vast of a difference.

Ordered a pick up order 45 minutes in advance. I arrive at the designated time and get told at the counter that it’ll be a little more time due to a “turnover.” Meanwhile as I’m waiting I see over 15 people receiving their food just from ordering at the counter. I waited over a half hour at the establishment and wasted a drive. I won’t ever return here again.

The food was amazing we got boneless chicken, chicken with bone, Mac and cheese, coleslaw, potato salad, wedges, and biscuits. Everything was 10/10 I've never had better biscuits in my life they were buttery, fluffy, and moist. Chicken with out the bone was a bit dry for my taste but with bone was perfect, the seasoning was perfect everything I loved about the chicken, crispy too. Mac and cheese was oh so creamy and cheesey. Potato salad 100/10. I loved everything so much differently beats KFC I would come here again. Inside is a bit small but they had quite the line.
