Pleasantville Diner

A couple of nice things first; the server got all our orders right, portion sizes were good, menu has lots of options.BUT, that was the slowest service I have ever experienced at a diner. Like, over 20 minutes to come back with coffee. And the place was almost empty, maybe three other tables. And when we did get our food it was kind of bland even by diner standards and didn't seem like any effort went into it for the length of time it took. Just enough spice to turn home fries orange but not affect taste and things like that.Maybe we caught them on a bad day. Couldn't recommend the place in good conscience.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options.

This place is a hit or miss.. we ordered Mexican style eggs and an order or chillaquiles with steak. Order took about 35 minutes to come out, for eggs that seems a little much. Eggs were room temperature at best. We told the server but they didn't really seem to care. Steak was so dry it reminded me of beef jerky! This was our third time there, most likely our last. Place looks dumpy, broken windows, ripped booths. 2 stars because the chillaquiles were good. Also they had no ice, if you ordered a soda you have to be ok drinking warm soda lol

Food is fairly priced and was very good. Quick service so we didn’t wait long for our food. Most menu items are $9.99 and the portions will definitely fill you up!

I feel really bad because my server was so nice.... but the Peasantville burger I ordered was disgusting. Zero flavor, fries had no salt, and the sauce they use is all heat with no taste. It was only $12 however, so as a comparison to other local spots its affordable.Food: 1/5

We walked in hoping to get lunch after a very long ride. No one said anything as we came in, so we took a seat. After 10 minutes we left. Strange place and it smelled bad.Service: 1/5
