Tadpole's Catfish Barn

It has been a while since we last dined here, mainly due to Covid. However, the Big Cat Buffet was just as I remembered it! They had everything from catfish, BBQ, shrimp, and frog legs, to four types of cobbler, bread pudding, cakes, and ice cream. The food was delicious and the service was excellent, just as always.

I was impressed by the delicious and fresh food at this restaurant. The chicken strips were especially outstanding, the best I've ever had. I thought the prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food.

This place was great! everything was season to perfection. the service was excellent. all about this great place was great. the homemade vanilla ice cream with blackberry butter was great. the boiling garnels were seasoned to perfection. homemade teufel crab that was totally amazing and then the cat had a great season on it. most places do not place seasonal on anything that this place is totally ingenious to visit

This restaurant is amazing! The food was delicious and the service was quick and friendly. The place was very clean and it's a buffet where they always keep the food trays full of fresh, hot dishes. I took my dad there for the first time and he loved everything about it. We will definitely be returning as often as we can, even though we live an hour away. The journey is absolutely worth it!

I only gave 4/5 starts only because the building is so large, I had hoped for more of a variety in selection, however, the service was excellent and the food was very yummy. My partner tried alligator for the first time and I was impressed that it was offered at a buffet, even if by request only. We will be back, I'm certain!
