Mo' Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food

I had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant today. I arrived and waited in line like everyone else, but once I made my plate and went to pay, they started serving people who just walked up to the register instead of helping me. A guy at the counter needed a new plate made, so we all waited for that. Suddenly, a DoorDash employee rushed in and they served her right away! It felt completely unfair when there were people in line ahead of her. Why didn't she have to wait like the rest of us? The customer service was very poor, especially when it seemed like DoorDash took priority. The manager didn't even know how to handle the situation. Since I didn't have time to find another place to eat, I had to go back in and buy my now-cold plate that had been sitting there while I waited. Thank you very much.

What really stood out to me, though, was how friendly the staff was. As a local service missionary, I had a wonderful conversation with one of the employees at the register who noted my role. The other team members who helped with my order were equally kind and attentive to all the customers. Honestly, it's been a while since I've encountered such genuinely nice fast food staff.

Mo' Bettahs is one of our favorite places to eat, especially when we're craving some delicious food. The service is consistently excellent, and the quality of the meat is top-notch. The pog juice and guava strawberry lemonade are absolutely refreshing and really hit the spot!

Today, we enjoyed the teriyaki chicken and kalua pork. It was delicious, as always, but I found the pork a bit too salty. However, it was still tasty; a little extra sauce helped balance out the saltiness.

I absolutely love this place! If you visit, you absolutely have to try the steak—it's my favorite and it’s always tender and delicious. Even the mini plate offers quite a generous portion!
