フィードバックを提供するThe pork chop is thick and given the gourmet treatment, maybe 5 bucks more than the other plates, but worth going out of your way for. Burgers thick and juicy; you might want to request extra cheese. Unexpected for a bar, I 'm delighted that their salads are mixed greens without a hint of boring iceberg lettuce. In other restaurants, I 'm always disappointed to order a side-salad and get a berg of boring iceberg, but not at the Red Horse. Not to beat a red horse, but their Cesar salad is great, freshly shaved Locatelli, and the dressing is just right. And the service is always just right. Wheelchair accessibility: It 's all gentle ramps (and a narrow wooden boardwalk) to get from the parking lot up to the dining room. The seating is 100% tables-and-chairs, no pesky booths, so I think they should be able to remove a chair so you can wheel into a table. Scaringly empty at 4 PM on a Friday, it would have been an easy operation. If they ever get crowded, it could be more complicated.
We got a couple mocktails to go with a salmon blt and brisket grilled cheese. The mocktails were good. The food combinations and seasonings were out of balance.
First off the bartender was great! Although we were there for lunch on a Saturday and only ones at the bar she took the time to talk about the menu and drink options plus specifics on my wheat allergy and what was in certain foods. Yes they have GF marked on the menu. Food also very good. I got the Pittsburgh steak salad and my more critical buddy got the seafood chowder which he also loved. Place isn't very inviting on the outside but worth a stop.
Bar trivia on Tuesday is fun. Try the Fiery chili garlic shrimp pared with the Mango Basil rice. Plenty of cold beer. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp
The food was quite good, next time I'll have to try some pie!
