This restaurant was recommended by a lot of people. We enjoyed the atmosphere, food was good and service was amazing. HOWEVER, I feel like this restaurant is VERY overpriced. You pay $50 USD for noodles. Expect to pay fine dining prices for casual dining food.
Coming from NYC, this was good Thai food but perhaps not the best we've ever had. But the setting is one to experience! Also the spicy margarita was amazing, best drink I had the whole trip
Who would have thought that you can get 5 Diamond Thai food in Mexico. Saffron at the Banyan Tree Mayakoba delivered exceptional dishes in a setting that was magical. The service staff was attentive and exceptionally well trained. We enjoyed our meal and loved our...food choices...
It is a beautiful setting on the water but the food is just ok. You can find better Thai food in your own neighborhood. The service was subpar with drinks taking 30 minutes to arrive.
