The server that greeted us explained the menu and the dessert option. While reviewing the menu, Lloyd came out to greet us and asked us about ourselves and gave some great insight. When we finished out dessert, he brought out a sample of the key lime pie which was fantastic. It’s a great environment with great food and great people. We will definitely be back again.
Pretty good! Went for lunch and the salad was not very good. The pizza lasagna was great though! Creme brûlée was okay and the coconut creme pie was fantastic!
We had the pleasure of having Tani create our wedding cake for our special day on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Wishing Well Barn. Our first cake tasting at Tani’s For Dessert was so delightful that we immediately decided to choose her as our cake baker, without even considering other options! If that doesn't highlight her talent, I don't know what does! Tani is an exceptional baker and cake decorator. We met with her twice, and each time it was a joy to work with her. She helped us make the most of our budget and guided us in choosing a cake that was perfect for both us and our wedding guests. Her cakes are absolutely to die for! Thank you, Tani, for crafting and decorating a beautifully delicious cake for our wedding day. With love, Sean and Courtney Butler ❤️
Stopped to get some sweetness from the bakery, but ended up eating in the restaurant! It didn't disappoint! We ordered the Bananas care and the red velvet cake! Both were so delicious! Perfection!
Tonight, we visited the extension of the restaurant and were welcomed to enjoy dessert inside. We started with coffee ($2.25) and cappuccino ($3.50). For dessert, we opted for the special of the day: a lemon blueberry mini-filled cake topped with raspberry sauce, a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream, and a dollop of whipped cream ($8.00). The cake featured a light lemon flavor complemented by fresh blueberries, with a soft interior and just the right amount of crunch on the outside. It struck the perfect balance between sweet and tart, and I could easily order it again and again. We also tried the bread pudding with a bourbon sauce and a bowl of vanilla bean ice cream ($6.25). The pudding had the ideal consistency with a lovely vanilla flavor, and the bourbon sauce was light and delicious. The service was warm and friendly, and the pace was just right. The café is beautifully set up with tables for two or four, adorned with white tablecloths and linen napkins. The classic rock, soul, and R&B music played at a perfect volume, allowing for pleasant conversation. The menu includes a variety of cakes, crepes, coffee, espresso drinks, sodas, and a selection of wines priced between $6 and $8.75 per glass. This charming dessert café has won us over, and we can't wait to return and share it with friends and family.
