The Royale - Plano

I will repeat the words that our 5-year-old enkel told the server when he held his thumb, this place is great. I'm not sure if I would use this tired word, but it was very good. we went with our daughter and one of her sons. we thought a order of the two-rings would complement the fries that came with the burger, but the 5 two-rings per order would not be enough. we were wrong. it was more than enough between the three adults and the shakes were excellent. I had a shot of bourbon in my salted caramel shake. it was great! oh yes, the burgers were excellent. in short, a burger/ries, tweeper rings and a shake was more than enough food. we stayed happy. two very small disappointments no malt. I like malt, but it made little difference. second, the restaurant canceled our opentable reservation after our arrival. that meant that I opentable e-mail to get credit. lesson learned to say the restaurant that they get an opentable reservation so that they get credit. summing four thumbs up.

Serious Management issues. We specifically went there to use our $20 gift card from Open Table. the server told us that he had been trained as a host and no one had ever told him about open table. the current hostess knew nothing about open table. not good. i suggest you remove them from the open table program. I'm a fan of the Restaurant but there seems to be a training issue.

Welcome here when we want a great burger in a relaxing, but chic atmosphere.

Love the decor! Our server was attentive but not clingy! Love this. The food: Fried pickles-amazing batter that clung to the thick dill pickles and good ranch for dipping. Smokehouse burger-great patty, needed more sauce and jalapeños. French fries-awesome!!!! Fresh, perfectly crispy! Banoffee shake-what a wonderful creation tua was!! Think of a perfect marriage between banana pudding and caramel!
