John's Cafe - Plano

This is truly one of the best breakfast spots in the Plano area. The food is outstanding, and the atmosphere is peaceful. The weekend special, Eggs Benedict, is unbeatable, and you won’t find better prices anywhere. Plus, the service is top-notch.

Very clean facility. The service was excellent and the food portions were just right for the amount you pay. Small quaint place that would be missed if you didn't know it was there. These places are always the best.

The parking at this location is quite limited, and it is not associated with The John's Cafe in Dallas on Greenville. I'm not sure why this restaurant chose to have the same name as them, as they are nothing like John's in Dallas.

Food was not great. The sausage just tasted like cheap store bought sausage. No spices at all. Eggs were overcooked. Scrambled eggs should not be brown. Hash browns were good but no spices again. Ever hear of salt and pepper? And the worst was the sausage and gravy. Gravy wasn't bad but did taste like package gravy, but the biscuits were horrible. Frozen biscuits clearly heated in a microwave. They were soggy from being frozen and cooked in the microwave. Average size portions. Unfortunately, not what I was hoping for.
