Salt Ash - Placentia

Our book club gathered here for brunch, and we had a wonderful time. The service was incredibly friendly, and we really enjoyed the chilaquiles and French toast—they were delicious! Although the eggs and speck arrived a bit late, and the potatoes were a little on the chunky side, we had a great experience overall. We will definitely be coming back!

The restaurant offers delicious local cuisine. Since it was Valentine's Day, the server seemed a bit rushed, but the food was still enjoyable. However, the only downside was that my plate was warm while the Caesar salad was served at room temperature. On the bright side, the fresh mozzarella was fantastic, and the pasta of the day was excellent as well.

The food and service were excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant for a relaxed evening out.

Finally got a chance to visit Salt Ash, after reading Yelp reviews for months! We will definitely be going back. Our waitress was a sweetie. Great sense of humor, helpful, but not intrusive. We loved the food too. The Duck-quitos were a big hit with all four of us. One small request, though: It might be better to serve four per order. An even number would work better for most couples or groups. Three is hard to split! The Carnitas tacos were delicious, and I loved the addition of pepitas. My friends had the salmon, which was absolutely great! Perfectly cooked and served on a johnny cake, which was very creative. We had the awesome bread pudding for dessert. Fantastic! All in all, a great experience!
